I taught this my 7-yr old class today about the good and bad things we put into our bodies.
I offered them a taste of toilet bowl cleaner, paint, insecticide, a battery, and a candle, and wisely they didn't want any of them. Why? Because they're poisonous, they replied.
What if I just gave you a little bit of each of these things and wrapped them up real tight in white paper so you couldn't even tell what it was, then would you try it? Eeww..no way!
Then I showed them this picture.
And they promised they would never smoke in their lives.
I'm with them.
