Angelina Alana Ballerina

All Alana's ballet dreams came true 2 weeks ago, when she went to her very first ballet class.

 Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa's Christmas Present, she and the boys all got to sign up for the classes they wanted for this season.  Ballet and Gymnastics (times 2).

Alana is a beautiful dancer!  She carries herself so well, and while the other 3 year olds were running wild, Alana kept her back straight and her hands curved "in beach ball position" when she walked anywhere!

And her hair is long enough for the cutest ballet bun ever!

We all look forward to Tuesdays (boys included) when we get to take her to dance class and peek through the window to watch.  She loves her ballet clothes and insisted we skype Ashley and Amelie to show off her tutu.  These two have come so far in their own ballet careers since these dress up days 9 months ago:

Carter's Elf-Yourself Self Concept

Today before breakfast, Carter was very anxious and wrote the following letter.  When he was finished, he folded it up and instructed, "This has to get to Santa."  Of course, when he left for school, we couldn't resist a sneak peak:

Dear Elfs,I really think I am one of you.  I even had a dream last night that I was a Elf.  I have pointy ears like Elfs, I can make things, (not exactly like toys you make, But at least you guys and Santa can teach me), and I've always wanted to fly, But I don't want to leave my family, Friends, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins.  I'm sure Santa has a idea to change us into Elfs.        Sincerely,        Carter

I just feel relieved that I get to change into an Elf, too :)  I always thought I'd look good in pointy shoes and green tights.
