Yeah, I didn't think the NBA and Gymnastics went together either.

Ballet and Football, maybe.  BUT the NBA?

Leave it to THIS big guy to make that a reality...and not just ANY reality.  The PERFECT gymnastics class for Carter!

Coach Russ (the owner of the gymanstics facility, and the coach of the 6 year old boys), as it turns out, was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in 1996!  He's got the height to prove it!  I'd been taking Carter there and talking to this guy for weeks...Steve took him there one day, and finds out that kind of famed info!!  I tell, ya, Steve has a way of digging deep, I s'pose. :)

We LOVED gymnastics.  It was awesome.  It was so fun to see Carter get physically stronger (upper body, mostly) as he and more importantly, overcome some of his fears of heights!  I am so proud of him!

We didn't get many pictures because all parents stay in an observation area outside the gym, and that doesn't offer the best photo opps.  But in any case, if you're looking for a GREAT gymnastics facility, this is it!

Gymnastics and leaving this place is one of those reasons we wipe a tear at moving.  He was such a good coach, teaching the kids so much more than gymnastics -- he was a role model and taught the kids great character skills and really boosted their self-esteem.  I love finding coaches and teachers like that!
