I LOVE my little girl.
And she LOVES purple.
She loves it so much that she is always asking for claiming the purple one of anything. Markers, Bowls, Construction paper...you name it, "I want the purple one!" Yet I've come to believe that it's not that she wants the "purple one", but it's that she sincerely believes that the word for purple really is "purple one." Because what comes out is,
"I want the purple-one dress."
"Where's my purple-one pillow?"
"See? My purple-one picture?!"
And I just smile and say, "Yes, I love your purple-one picture."
