Our Daily Funnies
At the Fireworks on the Fourth, Carter was really interested to see WHERE and HOW the fireworks were going off. We watched the guys light them and run away fast. I asked him:
"So Carter, do you want to be a Firework Technician when you grow up?"
"No!", he replied, "That might hurt."
...after watching one they had just lit explode in the sky, he excitedly replied, "I want to be a FIREWORK!"
"But Carter, don't you think that might hurt?"
"Oh yeah, it WOULD! I think I'll be a truck driver!"

An awesome kids book regarding snowmen slumping and melting is "Snowmen at Night" by Beuhner. It's cute.
We read it all the time, which contributes to why since day 1 of Frosty's life, the first thing Carter does is check to see if Frosty came back from his fun night on the town, and if he can guess what he did last night...and at night he checks 2-3 times to see if he started sliding :)
However. i sure have a hard time finding the hidden pictures in the illustrations!
