The other night I made this:
Glow Jars for the kids' night lights.
When Carter accidentally snapped a glow stick too much that it cracked and started spilling out, I quickly grabbed a small mason jar and shook out all the liquid from the glow stick inside.
I screwed on the lid and Ta-Da.
Like capturing lightning bugs in a jar -- without the lightning bugs.
They lasted long enough for the kids to fall asleep, while what remained of the dilapidated glow sticks continued to glow in the trash all night long.
