The Magical Winter Wonderland

We took time off of work, holiday planning, and even school (hush hush) to participate in some real Christmas cheer this past week.
Welcome to Winter Wonderland at Navy Pier, one majestic palace filled with snow, lights, trees, rides, and indoor ice skating!  In other words, filled with Magical Childhood Christmas.
Who cares that we have 2 Power Wheels at home...these are HERE!  Thank goodness the line was short, otherwise I would have refused (akin to my refusal to let them buy Kraft Macaroni & Cheese for $5 off a kids menu)
Carter in the Candy Cane Maze

We had to find snow SOMEWHERE since it hasn't snowed here AT ALL in seemingly 100 years!
Waiting in line for the Tilt-a-whirl:  a family favorite, minus mom!
THANK YOU, DAD for loving it enough to ride with the kids!

 No Hands, Addie!!
Always our dare-devil when it comes to Amusement Park Rides!
Lest you are confused, this monstrous tree is NOT in our living room!
(Maybe next year!)
Indoor Ice Skating!
 Mommy and Alana
 Addison and Mommy
Daddy and Carter pick up some mean speed!
Carter shocked us all at his love for the Hang Glider Ride!  Steve even got off saying how intense it was!
Ummm...giant rocking horse...which Alana was in love with.

Merry Christmas to ALL!
Even if your Winter Wonderland has to be found indoors, like ours was!
